Hungarian Heritage Day - Maynard, MA

Hungarian Heritage Day - Maynard, MA

03-29-2026 11:00 am -5:00 pm
The Hungarian Heritage Day is an annual celebration supported by the Hungarian Society of Massachusetts and its primary objective is to showcase the diverse and vibrant aspects of traditional Hungarian culture. The event features a range of activities, including demonstrations of traditional crafts, professions, dances, music, and instruments, specifically designed for both youth and those intrigued by Hungarian culture. Over the years, the local community has enthusiastically embraced this event, drawing in an attendance of over 200-300 people each year. The organizers are excited about expanding the event further. Many of our guest performers visit us directly from Hungary for this prestigious event. Of course, no Heritage Day would be complete without the inclusion of Hungarian cuisine. Attendees can indulge in a variety of meal and dessert options, providing a flavorful introduction to the tastes of Hungary. This all-ages event promises to be a lively celebration, filled with fun, dance, and laughter, leaving visitors with a cherished connection to Hungary in their hearts.
