Friendly jams for friendly people, led by our fun faculty performers.

Music is a collaborative art form, bringing us together to listen, learn, and rip a few hot breaks. Join us as we open Groton Hill’s inspiring facilities to jammers from across the region. Pick your favorite genre and play, move from room to room, or just hang out with friends to listen over a pint. Jams will run every second Tuesday from September through June!

Solas

Solas is celebrating thirty years of holding traditions and pushing boundaries!

In 2017, after a remarkable two decade career, Solas decided it was time for a break. Now, after eight years, the break is over and the Celtic supergroup is back and ready to celebrate their 30th Anniversary! The musical adventure continues in 2025.

Solas is hailed by The Boston Globe as “the finest Celtic ensemble this country has ever produced” and The Wall Street Journal as “an Irish traditional band bearing all the marks of greatness.” Since forming in New York City in 1995 they have been a galvanizing element in the Irish music scene – a lightning rod of talent and inspiration that set new standards for musicianship, repertoire, and intensity. Over the course of twelve critically acclaimed albums and endless international touring, Solas brought their love and respect for the traditions of Irish music, and their sense of melodic and instrumental adventure to the world.

Groton Hill’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

An afternoon of high-energy traditional and contemporary Celtic music!

Katie McNally (fiddle) and Neil Pearlman (piano/dance) return to Meadow Hall with some of the area’s finest players for this unforgettable show that will celebrate the Celtic diaspora with toe-tapping tunes from traditions around the globe. Featuring Matt and Shannon Heaton, and Andrea Beaton with Troy MacGillivray.
