There is no user registration on ArtsGourmet!

The REGISTER button attached to listed events leads to the page on the website associated with that event which contains links to purchase tickets or make donations. In some cases the user may register for attendance to that event and purchase tickets, in other cases there may only be a link to donate to the arts organization.  The nature of the links varies greatly among events so the register label is most generally applicable.

 

Using the Category Search Form (Right Sidebar)

1.  It is not necessary to make an entry in the "Search" input field unless a specific key-word is being used to find an event.  Otherwise all events in the page-associated category within the selected search radius will be found.

2.  Enter in the address field, an address of the location around which you would like to discover events.  The address must be sufficiently complete to enable a Google map search.  Example addresses are:

  • 123 Main St, Your Town, MA
  • Your Town, MA
  • 01742

3.  Select a search radius from the pulldown selector.

4. Click "Search" to obtain a list of events in the categories associated with the current ArtsGourmet page.

5.  If a more specific search is required, go to SEARCH ALL, which is available under the CATEGORIES, TIMES, and RECURRING menu items and use the "Search All Events" form.

Note: on a phone you will find it necessary to (finger-spread) magnify the mini-calendar in order to navigate with fingers alone.

Features and Customization

  • The mini-calendar may be used to find events that take place on a particular date.
  • Double-clicking on the highlighted dates will show the events listed for that date.
  • The navigation symbols on the mini-calendar may be used to search during later months.
  • The categories of events returned will include,
    • events in the general category specific to this page, and, for principle categories,
    • all subcategories under that one category
  • All locations within the geographical area covered by this ArtsGourmet region will be included in the results
  • Further narrowing of the search by location may be done with the targeted search form also on the same sidebar.
