He’s been the life of the party at major family-friendly events, from the Make A Wish Foundation to Comic Con Africa and for Target, Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Porsche, and even CBS Radio. In 2020, Parade Magazine joyfully crowned him #11 among the Top 20 Virtual Deejays during the pandemic. And for 3 years, he hosted “Weekends with Willy Wow” on Sirius XM’s Channel 78.

Dirty Deeds – The AC/DC experience celebrates the thunderous energy of the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson era delivering a power-packed performance that takes the audience on a journey through the story that is AC/DC.

Reminiscent of the legendary Australian rockers, Dirty Deeds, captures the essence of the band that defined a genre.

Channeling the electrifying guitar riffs of Angus and Malcolm Young, Dirty Deeds, recreates their chemistry and signature stage moves paying a fitting tribute to the rock ‘n’ roll band who ignited a global musical revolution.

Unlike most tribute acts, Dirty Deeds uniquely creates an immersive, authentic, and interactive AC/DC experience, transporting fans back to the glory days of classic Rock N Roll all while paying tribute to the unique history that is AC/DC.

Their attention to detail and dedication to capturing the spirit of the original songs makes every performance an unforgettable celebration of AC/DC’s legacy.

Critically-acclaimed duo, saxophonist Miguel Zénon and pianist Luís Perdomo, bring the music of their Grammy-winning album, El Arte del Bolero, to the Concert Hall with a special appearance by Groton Hill’s own Wind Ensemble. 

Multiple Grammy Nominee and Guggenheim and MacArthur Fellow Miguel Zenón represents  a select group of musicians who have masterfully balanced and blended the often contradictory poles of innovation and tradition. Widely considered as one of the most  groundbreaking and influential saxophonists and composers of his generation, he has also  developed a unique voice as a conceptualist, concentrating his efforts on perfecting a fine  mix between Jazz and his many musical influences. 

Join us at The Cabot for a silent film featuring a live score – 1927’s Metropolis with music by The Anvil Orchestra!

Metropolis is Fritz Lang’s German science-fiction classic that presents a highly stylized futuristic city where a beautiful and cultured utopia exists above a bleak underworld populated by mistreated workers. When the privileged youth Freder (Gustav Fröhlich) discovers the grim scene under the city, he becomes intent on helping the workers. He befriends the rebellious teacher Maria (Brigitte Helm), but this puts him at odds with his authoritative father, leading to greater conflict.

Formed in May 2021, The Anvil Orchestra is a silent film-accompanying ensemble featuring two members of the world-renowned Alloy Orchestra – Terry Donahue (Concussion Ensemble) on drums, percussion, and accordion, and Roger Clark Miller (Mission of Burma, Trinary System) on keyboard/synthesizer. Boston percussionist Lawrence Dersch joins The Anvil Orchestra for films that require a larger percussive sound such as “Metropolis” and “Man with the Movie Camera” and “The Lost World.” The Anvil Orchestra plays percussion-driven original scores to silent classics utilizing unusual sound sources as well as accordion, musical saw, electronics, and orchestral keyboards.

Music is a collaborative art form, bringing us together to listen, learn, and rip a few hot breaks. Join us as we open Groton Hill’s inspiring facilities to jammers from across the region. Pick your favorite genre and play, move from room to room, or just hang out with friends to listen over a pint. Jams will run every second Tuesday from September through June!
