Guest conductor David Feltner will lead the orchestra as we perform some of the most popular classics of all time! Listen to excerpts from Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, movements from the Dvorak’s New World Symphony and enjoy a special performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concert No. 2 with solo artist Oscar Jiang of Mason & Hamlin, playing a piano manufactured locally in Haverhill, MA!

This family-friendly concert has become a well-celebrated holiday tradition! Join conductor Neal Hampton and dancers from the Commonwealth Ballet, as they charm you with selections from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. Added selections will include a narration of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and Festive Sounds of Hanukkah performed by the orchestra. The Merrimack College Choral group will also join in to accompany the selection Believe from The Polar Express and many other holiday favorites. Be sure to plan on doing some early holiday shopping with our themed basket raffles! This concert will surely get you into the spirit of the season!

Metropolitan Wind Symphony - Holiday Pops

Join the MetWinds in kicking off your holiday season with a concert featuring your musical holiday favorites. Along with creative arrangements of Christmas and Hanukkah music, this program will feature Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring by J. S. Bach and the classic symphonic band work by Alfred Reed, Russian Christmas Music. John Higgins pays tribute to holiday music made famous from the Broadway stage in his arrangement Christmas On Broadway. This concert will also provide an opportunity for you to participate in a sing-a-long of Warren Barker’s Christmas Serenade. The concert will close in a fun-filled journey of Larry Mactaggart’s arrangement Jingle Bells, complete with cheering crowds and sounds of merriment.
