The Eastern States Exposition
Running since 1916, The Big E is New England’s biggest fair. The fair brought live musical acts, carnival rides, agricultural competitions, and food vendors this past September. All six New England states are famously represented on its grounds.

North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival
Admission stays low and family-friendly so all can enjoy without reliance on corporate sponsorship or alcohol sales. Adults – $10. Students/Seniors, as well as EBT, WIC, and Health Connector cardholders – $5. Kids 12 and under are free. We also participate in the Card to Culture program. Your Saturday admission will get you in on Sunday too. Tickets may be purchased online or at the entrance gates. Cash and credit/debit cards accepted. No one turned away for lack of funds.
The festival was initiated to support local artists and farmers in the North Quabbin and nearby towns. It succeeds, with hundreds of thousands of dollars circulating on the festival field each year, fueling the region’s creative and food/land-based economy.

Topsfield Fair
The Topsfield Fair, America’s oldest agricultural fair (running for more than 200 years), featured carnival rides, food, live music, rodeos, art shows, exhibits, and nearly 300 vendors this past October.
