Over the years, he’s tallied north of 1 billion streams, moved 1 million-plus albums worldwide, and scored a gold certification for the single “I’d Rather Be With You.” His music has appeared in over 200 films, television series, and commercials. In addition to multiple showstopping appearances on Ellen (who also enlisted him to perform at her wedding) and Today Show, and performances on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Conan, he contributed “Brand New Day” to a commercial in support of the troops at the request of First Ladies Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. Deb Talan’s voice has been described as “intoxicating” by NPR, “sugary and sultry” by Paste Magazine, “inimitable” by The Boston Globe. Her songwriting, whether as half of the folk-pop duo The Weepies, or solo, has earned her recognition on multiple “Best Of” lists over the years and numerous placements in movies, tv shows and commercials.

Talan’s new release, I Thought I Saw You, distributed by ONErpm, maps her journey into new life, love, longing, and letting go. The collection of lush, folk-pop gems is enriched by Iowa musicians Dan Padley (keys, guitar) and Jay Foote (bass). Deb’s voice and writing urge the listener to lean into the whole range of feelings involved in making and accepting big life changes.

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County is excited to present Yachtley Crew as a one-of-a-kind fundraising event to support our Homelessness Prevention and Housing Programs. All proceeds from this event will be used to further our work in the community.

Yachtley Crew are a seven-piece SoCal band who burst onto the club scene in 2017, selling out countless local venues before starting a nationwide Yacht Rock craze and being noticed by the legendary Jimmy Buffett, who signed them to his own Mailboat label prior to their new deal with Earache/Universal Records.

The Weepies co-founder and multi-instrumentalist Deb Talan has had quite a life.

Having started a band in Portland, OR with her friend Mark named Hummingfish, Deb wrote a lot of fun songs that people danced to ‘til they were all sweaty in that hipster/grungy/geeky Northwest kind of way. She then began playing solo in Boston coffee houses and opened shows for Catie Curtis (a songwriter hero of hers), before meeting up with Steve Tannen and forming The Weepies. Together, they played shows all over the country and the world, toured in a real tour bus, and made 5 records together, with many songs placed in loads of movies and tv shows.

Phil Vassar Acoustic Duo

Over 25 years, Vassar has racked up chart-topping hits and numerous accolades, including performances in Europe, Australia, and the White House, as well as memorable moments with country legends like Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. But it’s the connection he builds with fans through live performances that remains the heart of his career. “When I go on stage, the world fades away, and it’s just about having fun and connecting with the fans,” he shares.

A life-altering heart attack in 2023 that nearly claimed his life reshaped Vassar’s outlook. “You can’t outrun your genetics, but you can take care of yourself,” he reflects. His recovery has prompted a shift toward a calmer, more grateful life. “I’m way calmer now than I used to be. I’ve learned to enjoy the moment,” he says, now embracing life with renewed perspective.

With a career built on resilience and an unwavering commitment to storytelling, Phil Vassar continues to inspire both fans and peers, proving that great songs endure across generations.

The Del McCoury Band

The Del McCoury Band

10-25-2025 8:00 pm

Even among the pantheon of music’s finest artists, Del McCoury stands alone. From the nascent sound of bluegrass that charmed hardscrabble hillbilly honkytonks, rural schoolhouse stages, and the crowning glory of the Grand Ole Opry to the present-day culture-buzz of viral videos and digital streams, Del is the living link. On primetime and late-night television talk shows, there is Del. From headlining sold-out concerts to music festivals of all genres, including one carrying his namesake, there is Del. Where audiences number in the tens of thousands, and admirers as diverse as country-rock icon Steve Earle and jamband royalty Phish count as a few among hundreds, there is Del.
