Jeff Belanger Presents Wicked Strange New England

Jeff Belanger Presents Wicked Strange New England

For over 25 years, Jeff Belanger has been exploring the unexplained.

Based on Jeff’s latest book, Wicked Strange: Your Guide to Ghosts, Monsters, Oddities, and Urban Legends from New England, plus his popular weekly podcast and his Emmy-nominated television series on PBS and Amazon Prime, the program presents highlights from his own adventures and work. For over 25 years, Jeff has been exploring the unexplained. He seeks out history, folklore, ghosts, monsters, and legends all over the world and in your backyard. Wicked Strange New England offers a tour of haunts, monsters, aliens, and weird history from our region. Drawing from a library of hundreds of legends, this program is different every time it’s given. The bizarre is closer than you think!

The Lied To's: Barside
The Lied To’s — Doug Kwartler and Susan Levine — craft honest, harmony-driven Americana that explores the complexities of love, loss, and self-discovery. Their third album, The Worst Kind of New, digs deep into grief, memory, and moving forward, shaped by the personal loss of both their parents during its creation.

Known for their raw, cinematic sound and unflinching lyrics, the duo blends textured guitars and thoughtful songwriting to tell stories that resonate. From the reflective “Midnight Kiss” to their spirited single “It’s Not Who You Love,” The Lied To’s invite listeners into a space that’s both personal and universal.

Award-winning solo artists before they met, Kwartler and Levine joined forces in 2013 and have been making music — and life — together ever since.

Danielle Miraglia

Danielle Miraglia comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson and an infectious stomp-box rhythm with tunes ranging from heart-felt to socially conscious that will move both your heart and hips.

Her latest “Bright Shining Stars” debuted at #15 on the Billboard Blues Charts.

Cascade Blues Association calls it “… tough as rawhide, but smooth as blended whiskey.” Released Oct 2020 with Vizztone Label Group, it’s a solo acoustic folk/blues record that highlights the one-woman-band live sound she’s honed over the years, featuring guest appearances by talented friends Laurence Scudder, Peter Parcek and Richard “Rosy” Rosenblatt. It includes originals as well as a collection of songs she covers at live shows, paying homage to influences like Big Bill Broonzy, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin and more, plus the title track “Bright Shining Stars,” written by her husband, Tom Bianchi.
