Matt & Marty: Barside
Matt&Marty bring a spirited, skilled approach to a refreshing repertoire of old and modern American music - pre-war blues and folk, New Orleans, rock, originals.
Their repertoire and stage banter make it an excellent and unique show at home in a barroom, a blues hall, or an intimate house concert.
Marty plays harmonica, washboard, saw, and various hand percussion, while Matt belts out a deep, resonant blues growl and fingerpicks standard, open-tuned and slide guitar.

Rachel Yang: Barside
Rachel Yang, 26, she/her, is a singer/songwriter who hails from the Northeastern United States. Her music is a record of her living experience, feelings, and thoughts. As a life-long music lover, she aspires to be one of the greatest musicians in the world, and wishes to connect with every person through singing. Thank you for listening!

Blending classic influences like The Allman Brothers and Led Zeppelin with high-energy improvisation, their music captivates audiences across New England. Van Gordon Martin is a sonic chameleon and deeply creative artist.
Performing live with a wide range of musical styles.
VGM is a multi instrumental producer and powerhouse on lead guitar.
VGM has been a veteran of the east coast music scene for over two decades, and is a part of Boston based Reggae collective Dub Apocalypse, Moroccan/Jazz/ Electronic group Club D’elf, Hip Hop Legend Big Daddy Kane’s Live band, Paul Wolstencroft of Slightly Stoopid’s Organically Good Trio, The Naya Rockers, and many others. He is also founding member of Spiritual Rez, a project witch he toured with extensively up until 2011.
