Comedy of Horrors (3)
If you’ve never entered the Twilight Zone, now is your chance! Jack Neary’s COMEDY OF HORRORS offers three excursions into the unknown, in which three moments in normal, everyday daily life are transformed by the unexplainable, the inexplicable, the downright outrageous into something complete unexpected! With laughs! In THE AUDITION, a candidate trying out for the role of “Dracula” exhibits talent far and above community theatre expectations. In VOICE RECOGNITION, a young writer discovers why AI isn’t necessarily all that helpful. And in SILENCE, a performance of a play is…well…the less you know about this one, the better. As Mr. Serling once pronounced, “You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sigh and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop”…the COMEDY OF HORRORS.

Lenny Clarke, the "Crazy Train" of Comedy
The one and only Bad Boy from Boston.
Nationally known comedian, Lenny Clarke, with the heavy Boston accent and the Don Rickles attitude, might do just about anything. You really don't know what will come out of his mouth next. He came up in the 1980s, the heyday of Boston Comedy, with fellow funnymen Steven Wright, Martin Olson and Denis Leary. In fact he was roommates with Olsen, and their apartment, known by comedians as "The Barracks," was a notorious "crash pad" for visiting comics, and the subject of a documentary film as Clarke and Leary explain in "When Standup Stood Out."
