Joshua Radin emerged in 2004 as an empathetic, engaging, and often enthralling troubadour. Over the years, he’s tallied north of 1 billion streams, moved 1 million-plus albums worldwide, and scored a gold certification for the single “I’d Rather Be With You.” His music has appeared in over 200 films, television series, and commercials. In addition to multiple showstopping appearances on Ellen (who also enlisted him to perform at her wedding) and Today Show, and performances on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Conan, he contributed “Brand New Day” to a commercial in support of the troops at the request of First Ladies Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. He’s played to sold out crowds around the globe and shared the stage with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos and more.

Deb Talan’s voice has been described as “intoxicating” by NPR, “sugary and sultry” by Paste Magazine, “inimitable” by The Boston Globe. Her songwriting, whether as half of the folk-pop duo The Weepies, or solo, has earned her recognition on multiple “Best Of” lists over the years and numerous placements in movies, tv shows and commercials.

Talan’s new release, I Thought I Saw You, distributed by ONErpm, maps her journey into new life, love, longing, and letting go. The collection of lush, folk-pop gems is enriched by Iowa musicians Dan Padley (keys, guitar) and Jay Foote (bass). Deb’s voice and writing urge the listener to lean into the whole range of feelings involved in making and accepting big life changes.

Peter Krasinski performs an afternoon of Bach’s organ works for the second annual BACHtoberfest weekend. The afternoon highlights Bach’s secular and sacred organ works, and continues THE COMPLETE BACH’s annual tradition of recitals for organ. Featuring the Mechanics Hall’s Hook Organ, an institution in Worcester for more than 160 years, this performance allows the listener to experience the robust sound and feeling of a pipe organ.

In 1863, Elias and George Hook began the installation of the custom-built instrument, fit perfectly for the Great Hall. The Hook Organ is made up of 3,504 pipes and 52 stops. Listeners flock to hear this organ played, both for its history and for its intensity and story. Hear the Great Hall fill with sound at this afternoon organ recital.
