At 26 years old, Grammy-nominated Yonder Mountain String Band continues to exist at the forefront of the progressive bluegrass scene as one of the undeniable innovators and pioneers of the modern jamgrass movement.

Bending bluegrass with elements of rock, alternative and improvisational music, Yonder Mountain brought their high-energy, sound and psychedelic light show into rock n’ roll settings with tremendous success, proving it possible for a bluegrass band to not only exist but excel in a rock world without drums. The inroads they made created opportunities for like-minded acoustic bands to perform at festivals, rock clubs, theaters and stadiums previously considered off-limits for string bands.

Bull Run - Holy Mother of Bingo

Bull Run - Holy Mother of Bingo

The Bull Run and RISE Arts Collaborative present “Holy Mother of Bingo!”

Of course you’ve heard of dinner theatre, but have you ever thought about BINGO THEATRE?!  Enjoy five actual rounds of bingo while this outrageous murder mystery unfolds around you, presented by RISE Arts Collaborative.

An innocent bingo fundraiser at the Our Mother of Mercy church goes awry when parishioners mysteriously drop dead!  The evidence suggests well-calculated murders, but who is to blame?  Tensions rise as everyone begins identifying suspects.  Past feuds rear their heads as the members of the parish try to state their innocence one by one.

Who could be behind the elaborate spree?  The disgruntled choir director?  The magician turned youth minister?  The ex-convict that has recently turned to the power of prayer?  It couldn’t be one of the Cookie Cadets selling their beloved cookies!  Everyone’s a suspect...  even the audience in the zany comedy that takes interactive theatre (and fundraising opportunities!)  to a whole new level!

In this life, very few friendships withstand the test of time. Naturally, people go their separate ways and chase their own dreams. As rare as it may be for friendships to last a lifetime, it might be even rarer for a band to stick together for the long haul. For close to four decades, the members of Big Head Todd and The Monsters—Todd Park Mohr [vocals, guitar, keys, sax, harmonica], Brian Nevin [drums], Rob Squires [bass, vocals], and Jeremy Lawton [keyboards, lap pedal/steel guitar, vocals]—have continued to both throw down in the studio and light up stages worldwide. Rallying around a core vision, the platinum-selling Colorado quartet kick out the kind of blues-drenched rock ‘n’ roll bangers that make you want to rev the engine a little louder, sing along like no one’s looking, and live a little freer.

Bull Run - Billy Prine Presents Songs & Stories of John Prine

THIS SHOW IS RESCHEDULED FROM NOV 7, 2024. ALL TICKETS  AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERED TO THE NEW DATE.

Billy Prine is a natural-born storyteller just like his late, great brother John Prine was a natural-born songwriter.  John was a great communicator of the human experience whittled down to the best words.  His big, little brother, owner of a rich, booming voice yet full of subtleness, is one of the finest orators you’ll ever hear – also choosing just the right turn of phrase.

During these concerts celebrating John’s life in song, Billy will tell stories about or surrounding some of John’s most beloved songs before leading his band through his version of John’s timeless masterpieces. As an example, fans will get to hear the first time John played his classic song “Paradise” for their father as the family sat around the kitchen table.
